Bordentown, NJ – Liberty Lake Foundation is hosting a Free Community Day on Saturday May 3rd from 11 am to 4 pm at Liberty Lake Day Camp in Mansfield, NJ. A non-profit organization, their mission is to provide camperships, as well as opportunities for children to grow and learn within a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment. Liberty Lake Foundation creates tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships for families hit hard by the recession, while contributing to over 40 local youth-serving organizations. At the forefront of youth development in our area, Liberty Lake Foundation is providing a safe haven of experiential education, growth and leadership opportunities for thousands of young people throughout Burlington, Camden, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, as well as Philadelphia and Bucks Counties in Pennsylvania. The Liberty Lake Foundation firmly believes that children are our most precious resource and deserve to be nurtured and encouraged to reach their fullest potential.
There will also be a Red Cross Blood Drive (interested parties can sign up online). Fun Activities will include a Charity wiffle ball tournament; Chinese auction; fitness classes featuring Zumba; Camp Activities: boating, laser tag and archery tag, mini golf, rock wall; Charity magic the gathering card tournament; live music; NJ Renaissance Faire characters; Boot Camp obstacle course; lots of family activities including the pirate ship playground, gaga, basketball, volleyball and more!
Lunch from local gourmet eateries will be available, as well as Rita’s Water Ice and refreshments. Liberty Lake is located at 1195 Florence-Columbus Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Parking and admission is Free, while some activities will ask for donations to the Liberty Lake Foundation.
