This summer will be jam packed with music. We have compiled a list of the top 9 free music festivals and summer concert series for your enjoyment throughout the summer. It’s a great way to relax after a day at the beach or a hard day at work. Pack a picnic and your lawn chair for this great lineup.
Hoboken Summer Enchanted Evenings Concert Series
These FREE Outdoor Performances will be held Thursday evenings from June 4 to August 20 in the Amphitheater at Sinatra Park, located on Frank Sinatra Dr. between 4th and 5th.
This summer the Guitar Bar Allstars will once again attempt to beat the world’s record for Most People Playing, a stringed instrument, on the Same Song. Hundreds of local musicians gathered for a group performance of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door. They’re calling on anyone and everyone with an acoustic guitar, mandolin or ukulele (or any other acoustic sting instrument) to join them in another performance of “Knockin on Heaven’s Door” followed by a full set list of easy, popular sons that even beginner guitar players could rock out to.
Garwood Rocks
June 7 from 10 am – 5 pm
Center Street, Garfield
Garwood Rocks is home of New Jersey’s most exciting art, music and classic car festival. Join them for a day filled with live music from local bands, delicious festival foods, beer garden, marketplace of vendors and rides for the kids. It’s a fun day for the whole family.
Fort Lee Arts & Music Festival
June 7 from 11 am – 6 pm
Lemoine Avenue between Main Street and Bruce Reynolds Boulevard
This year they have over 140 vendors, free rides and face painting for the kids, food vendors, Farmer's Market vendors, crafters, artists, a Harley Davidson Bike Show and two stages of free entertainment. This is a rain or shine event.
Munchkin Monday Summer Concert Series at Palisades Center

Join them at 12PM in the East Court for a performance by the children's band Jungle Gym Jam as part of our Munchkin Monday Summer Concert Series! The event is free.
