Seaton Hackney Stables is a Premier Horseback Riding School

HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS: Seaton Hackney Stables offers both private and semi-private lessons for our riders who want more flexibility in scheduling or individual attention. Private lessons are a great way for students to have one-on-one instruction, developing strong bonds with the instructor and their horse. We welcome beginners to advanced riders. We are located in the heart of Morristown NJ, serving students in Morris County and beyond.

FLEXCAMP: Seaton Hackney offers a Flexible Camp Program any day or half-day of the year! For an amount equal to a couple of half-hour private lessons, participants will spend an exciting day at the Stables and ride at least twice, sometime three times throughout the day. The rest of the time will be spent learning about Barn Management matters and practicing them hands-on under the tutelage of one of our staff Instructors or Barn/Yard managers. Drop your child at any time after the Barn opens (8am) and pick her/him up any time before closing. This is what “FlexCamp™” is all about. This is not as structured and supervised as our regular camp, so participants should be able to interact with the horses and staff with minimal supervision.

TROOP PROGRAM: Fall, Winter and Spring Programs: Whether your child is a beginner or advanced rider, Seaton Hackney Stables’ Troop Horseback Riding Program is a great social sport, allowing the riders to learn together…from each others’ successes and mistakes.Riders learn much more than just how to ride a horse. In developing relationships with the horses, they learn responsibility, love, and trust. In addition, through riding, they improve their balance, and develop self-confidence while being physically active and enjoying the great outdoors.

More importantly, PEP PROGRAM: Our Petite Equestrian Program Seaton Hackney Stables offers several programs for smaller children (age 3 to 6). Our Petite Equestrian Programs allow these children to acquire basic horsemanship skills in small groups, while learning to ride.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We at Seaton Hackney Stables are following all Safety Protocols as per the State Of New Jersey. Social distancing is enforced and all visitors are require to wear face masks. Once mounted on the horse, masks can be lowered and will need to be brought back up once back in the main yard. All tack and areas are disinfected and cleanliness is a priority.
