The summer is bringing so many exciting changes at many of the great fun attractions in New Jersey. From the largest indoor ropes course to the Freedom Rider coaster, iPlay America has outdone themselves again with action packed fun for the whole family. Hold Tight. iPlay America is expanding with New Jersey’s Largest Indoor Ropes Course opening on June 25. If adventure is what you want, this is the course to take your adrenalin to new heights. iPlay America’s new Sky Trail® ropes course features several courses and obstacles to test your skills like the rope bridges, zig-zag beams, cargo nets, walk-across beams, vertical rope ladders, and more. Plus, the Sky Tykes® ropes course is perfect for adventurous kids ages 2 to 7. With platforms just 2’ 8” off the ground, they’ll start to develop their skills at eye level for parents and grandparents. The CUTEST. PENGUINS. EVER. have arrived at Adventure Aquarium. Open now, get up close and personal with Australia's little blue penguins as they dart through the water, waddle around and play together beachside in our all new Little Blue Beach exhibit. These playful beach dwellers are even a little bit boisterous and guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. While you are there, dare to cross the new Shark Bridge. Splashplex Water Park Playground at The Funplex in Mt. Laurel is your place to play this summer! This new attraction continues all the fun of an amusement ride with the refreshing feeling of a water attraction. You can play all day in your own wacky water race track with one-of-a-kind slides, cool water cannons and totally wild sprays. America’s only construction theme park Diggerland is rolling into its third season. They recently revealed their latest attraction. The ride, aptly named Shake N’ Roll, offers children and their families the unique experience of operating compact “steam rollers.” The Shake N’ Roll ride will become the 26th attraction at the New Jersey-based theme park, following the release of three attractions including the ARGO amphibious vehicles, the WorkMax UTVs and the World’s Fastest Backhoe, the JCB GT. Branchburg Sports Complex is New Jersey’s premiere sports and family entertainment center. Coming June 16 at Morris Museum, a new exhibit called, “FOR AMUSEMENT ONLY: ARCADES AND CAFES.” This exhibition explores the fascinating world of coin-operated entertainment from the early twentieth century. See fortune-tellers and strength testers from penny arcades and gambling machines and musical instruments from Prohibition-era speakeasies. Head back in July 1st, when they are showing TOOTHPICK WORLD. With just toothpicks and Elmer’s Glue, artist Stan Munro constructs precise reproductions of architectural masterworks and world-renowned structures. Toothpick World features iconic American buildings such as the White House and the Empire State Building, and internationally celebrated structures such as Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower.
