Sanderson offers stunning illustrations in this classic fairy tale. However this telling of Goldilocks offers a delightful twist. Goldilocks is enjoying a walk in the woods, picking blueberries, and stumbles upon a cottage. As the tale goes, she explores the rocking chairs, the porridge, and falls asleep in little bear’s bed. When the three bears return home, they find Goldilocks asleep in baby bear’s bed. Mama bear insists that Goldilocks first make the bed and then help fix baby bear’s chair. Baby bear is hungry and his porridge is all gone, so they decide that blueberry muffins would be a delicious substitute. Complete with a mouthwatering blueberry muffin recipe, this book is sure to enchant your young reader.
