NJ Kids Suburban Mom loves October!  It’s National Cookie Month – yes, there is a whole month dedicated to that little treat!  Did you know that cookies originated as ‘test cakes’ – little bits of cake batter that was tested to see if it was good or not – and that the early evidence shows the first test cakes were made in Persia (now part of Iran).  Personally, I don’t care where they came from or how they started, I’m going to celebrate the cookie all month…starting with a chocolate chip….
