75th Annual Toms River Volunteer Fire Company #1 Halloween Parade
This Halloween Parade boasts over 6,000 participants-- some wearing simple masks, some riding fire-breathing floats--and over 100,000 spectators making this the second largest in the world. The parade starts at 7:00 pm on Saturday Oct 26, but it’s recommended that you arrive 2 hours prior, and bring blankets and chairs. FREE
Bring the Kids to Trick or Treat in Downtown Westfield
Downtown Westfield Corporation is once again sponsoring Downtown Trick or Treat on Sunday, October 27 from 11 am to 2 pm (rain or shine). At 2:00, they will also host a Costume Contest on Quimby Street. The Optimist Club of Westfield is partnering with them for a parade that will begin on Quimby Street, turn onto North and Prospect Street, E. Broad and then return to Elm & Quimby Street. Should be lots of fun!

Be sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up a free trick-or-treat bag and a list of participating stores. Parents, please be aware that not all stores and restaurants will participate. It is up to their discretion to join in this fun-filled day. Also, treats will only be available while supplies last. Look for the signs in the windows when they are out of treats.
