For 2022, there are many great options for Performing Arts and Music camps where our kids can enjoy developing their own, unique, creative voice and self-expression in a safe and nurturing environment. Get the opportunity to learn music with new friends, record in our studio, and perform at the end of the week! Full-day sessions run from 9-4pm. Half-day sessions run from 9-12:30pm, and 12:30-4pm. Sleepaway Camp Performing Arts for ages 10 - 17 years
Buck's Rock Camp is a freedom-of-choice creative and performing arts overnight camp for 10-17 year olds. Every summer is completely different. It’s a safe space where young people can grow into whatever they want and need to be. The day starts at 7:30am and ends at 10:15pm. A theatre arts school for young people using custom-written scripts to guarantee equal role opportunities for every student. Classes are small and personalized culminating in a full-scale musical production. Incorporating acting exercises, theater games and improvisations, students are encouraged to develop their creative and dramatic skills while having fun. FLUTE EXPERIENCE

The River Edge Flute Experience is a 4 day flute course held at the start of the summer, in River Edge, NJ. The River Edge Flute Experience faculty will guide all participants through careful instruction with level-appropriate music. A Hip Hop and Theater Day Camp for ages 9 - 18 years: Offering 2 camp options:
Hip Hop: This summer we're looking forward to sharing all the pillars of hip hop as part of one comprehensive summer. Be a part of our community meetings and closing cypher, learn more about Music Production, Beatmaking, Graphic Design, Graffiti, Podcasting, Emceeing, DJing, and Dance! Theater: Join us this summer for a journey through a kaleidoscope of theater arts training. Students will sharpen their acting, movement, creation and vocal skills through a variety of classes, from choreography to circus, from improvisation to play creation. Every camper will get a taste of it all! Our culminating event will be a combination of improvised scenes, musical interludes, and original work created by the students.

Join the vibrant artistic community of Mason Gross School of the Arts this summer! Offering programs in art & design, dance, film & animation, music, and theater. Explore, create, and perform under the guidance of faculty from the state’s premier arts conservatory. Programs Art & Design Take part in a variety of Art & Design Programs led by Mason Gross faculty, alumni, and graduate students. Their virtual camp will feature expert Remote Instruction. Safe, Secure Online Experience. All RCA summer programs are conducted via Zoom. Do you want to learn how to play in a band or learn to write songs? All students will get to experience to thrill of playing music with a band during our themed music camps! From beginner music camps to intermediate and advanced sessions, our music camps will further a student's musical foundation. Through group "band" instruction, this comprehensive camp experience is designed to hone music performance and ensemble skills in a creative, fun, and safe environment. Our staff knows from experience that playing with a band speeds learning and creates "seasoned" musicians.

For ages 12 - 19, VTC Summerstock is an intensive sleep-away program for the serious Theater & Musical Theater performer, and offers the FULL summer camp experience. Led by professional actors and directors, campers perform three fully produced shows in 3 weeks. Along with show rehearsals, campers take workshops including: Songwriting, Shakespeare, Musical Theater Dance, Music Theory, Sight Reading, and Character Analysis. Recreational activities include swimming, boating, archery, hiking, and of course, nightly campfires, perfectly round out the camp experience. Our campers leave every summer saying it was the best weeks of the year! Located at Hands In 4 Youth - Home of Camp Vacamas in the beautiful foothills of the Ramapo mountains of West Milford, NJ. July 24 through August 13. Financial Assistance is available. For kids ages 7-12, VTC KIDS is a performing arts day camp held in Montclair, NJ. Young actors will learn basic musical theater techniques to communicate characters, feelings, and stories, which will increase their focus and exercise their imaginations.

Join us for our 32nd Season! Taubenslag Productions' Theater Camp will run for 8 weeks for kids entering 1st grade up to 16 years. Whether they want to perform, create sets or props or be a counselor-in-training, we've got something for everyone. Campers learn all aspects of musical theater while also building confidence and self-esteem. All levels of experience or no experience at all are welcome!
