West Orange’s Premiere Paint And Sip Art Studio To Celebrate 1yr Anniversary!
A SIP OF ART, an upscale paint and sip art studio with a philanthropic twist, will be celebrating its milestone 1 year Anniversary this month.
Located on the Lower level of the Whole Foods Plaza at 235 Prospect Avenue in West Orange, the upscale paint and sip art studio has quickly become a local favorite - its classes regularly selling out and private party bookings on the rise. Their beautiful studio space - with ample parking right in front and fun classes having garnered excellent reviews and word-of-mouth referrals.
In addition to paint and sip classes, the bright and beautifully decorated studio offers a variety of art classes for children, as well as private parties, corporate events & fundraisers. The space is also available for private rental.
Open House on Sunday April 2, 2017, from 1 - 4pm!
A 1yr Anniversary Celebration Open House is planned for Sunday April 2nd from 1pm to 4pm at the studio. There will be fun hands-on art-themed activities for the kids (and caregivers) to participate in and attendees will have a chance to win door prizes including the grand prize - a FREE Kids’ Private Party. Light snacks and re-freshments will also be provided. “I am really excited for our Open House as it is a chance for us to meet, thank and celebrate with our customers who have supported and contributed to the studio’s success over the past year”. said Efe Cierkowski, the studio’s owner.
A Sip of Art, who first opened their doors in March 2016, with a Grand Opening in April 2016, was founded by Efe Cierkowski, a South Orange mom of three who left her corporate job to pursue her dream of entrepreneurship. In a twist on the popular paint and sip model, Cierkowski added a philanthropic component to her studio. Every activity at A Sip of Art represents an opportunity to give back to the community. “A percentage of our profits go to the St. Barnabas Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a portion of proceeds from all private events go to St. Barnabas or a rolling list of charitable organizations, including local school PTAs” said Cierkowski. So far, A Sip of Art, whose tag line is ‘paint, sip and give back’ has sponsored the St. Barnabas Miracle Walk and donated to several local charities including local school PTAs.
“The Staff and I are happy to provide a fun and relaxing space where our customers of all ages come to unwind, have fun and express their creativity. And also be able to give back to causes close to their heart” said Cierkowski.
In regards to future plans for the studio, Cierkowski said “This upcoming year, my focus is to expand our daytime offerings; we are in the process of developing program-ming such as mommy & me classes, senior citizen art classes as well as other art meet-ups during the daytime hours. We will also expand our After School class offer-ings all in an effort to offer more enrichment options for kids and parents”.
