Interactive STEAM Classes, Virtual Playdates and Daily LEGO Building Challenges!  Snapology of Monmouth County has begun teaching our STEAM classes online so kids (ages 5-14) can interact with each other online via video and participate in STEAM LEGO building lessons. We are also beginning Virtual Playdates, so kids can see their friends and classmates during a private Online Class.  Also offering FREE daily LEGO Building Challenges on FB and Instagram so families can participate by building a project, posting a photo, and the photo with the most likes wins a prize. Inspire your budding scientist and engineers with a Virtual STEM-based experience! Genius Gems is now running virtual STEM classes for children ages 5-10. Sign up for a 45 minute one-time class, or a weekly spring class on exciting topics such as Coding, Rainbow Chemistry, Incredible Architecture, Harry Potter Potions, LEGO Lab, Pokémon STEM and more. Join the Battleship New Jersey on Friday through Tuesday mornings on Facebook for kids activities.  Each day is a new STEM activity but previous projects have included making grommets, math problems to design your own battleship, science projects for structural integrity testing, and a Navajo Code word dictionary.  Projects are designed to be done with materials found at home and are appropriate for school age children and their families. The Center for Contemporary Art in Bedminster offers online classes for children and teens. “The Dynamic Sketchbook” for children ages 9-12, gives students a no-holds-barred approach. Collage, graffiti, stencils, transfers, decals, drawing and painting and more will be used. For Teens, “Drawing In-Depth” provides a chance to explore various drawing media. Working from photographs and their imagination, students will create drawings with charcoal, pencil and ink.
