Located at 440 South Street in Morristown, adjacent to Morris County’s Loantaka Park, Seaton Hackney Stables is a family-oriented riding facility with a variety of activities for horse enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels.  Offering the complete equine experience at this full-service riding facility servicing beginner to advanced riders; from private, semi- and group lessons, troop programs, Petite Equestrian Program (PEP) for younger children, trail rides, badge programs, pony rides, birthday parties, equestrian summer camp, flex camp, schooling shows, to traveling IEA Team.

Fun Horseback Riding Summer Camp for Kids 

Seaton Hackney Stables Summer Camp Programs combines the great outdoors with education and fun for children ages 5-17. Horse back riders of all levels are welcome, from no experience to the advance rider. Campers learn basic safety, grooming, tacking and barn management skills. They ride 2-3 times daily, either in lessons, on trail rides, lungeing session and Equisthenics.In addition, campers receive daily Badges in many different topics including harness driving, equine breeds, colors and markings, equine health and First Aid, braiding, Show grooming and more!  Weekly camps run all summer until Labor Day. Half-day and full-day sessions for riders of every ability (ages 5 to 17) are available. Session dates, rates, and other information are included. Girl Scout Badges

Equishare USA, LLC.  offers Girl Scout Riding Camps as well as Equestrian Badges and Try-its.
We will tailor our badges to your specific Troop requirements and ages. They all include a riding element and last either 1.5hrs, 2hrs or 2 visits of 2hrs.

Horseback Riding Parties

2-hr Birthday Party at our Farm!  Bring up to 20 kids. Our parties are perfect for children ages 3yr-10yr. If the kids are older, you may want to substitute a horse for a pony and even provide mini lessons instead of the pony rides.  We include a Hostess and helper(s) for the duration of the party, unlimited Pony Rides and Mini Cart rides, a miniature Horse, Pony or Donkey for the kids to groom, lead around, play with, pizza and drinks for the kids, generic paper goods, a shaded area where the food and (your) cake will be served, petting animals such as Jack the Donkey, and of course so much fun.

Therapeutic Riding Program 

Our therapeutic riding program is designed to help children and adults of all ages reach their own personal goals both physically and mentally.  The resident therapeutic riding instructor is fully certified through the Council for Education and Certification in Therapeutic Horsemanship (CECTH) and works hard to cater to each individual rider’s needs.  We strive to create a safe, positive learning environment for riders of all abilities. We do work with the Division of Developmental Disabilities to offset the cost. Sessions are 50 minutes long, please call us to schedule your child’s first lesson today!
