Eureka Center Art Therapy and Counseling
Eureka Center for Art Therapy, Counseling and Coaching
Eureka Center offers online and in person sessions for children ages 3 and up, and parents. To help resolve self-esteem issues, stress, and anxiety, and to stimulate observational skills, creativity, self expression, positive mindset, social and emotional growth, their technique is to use a combination of the following:
- Neurographica
- Breathework
- Movements
- Art Therapy
- Mediation
Regular sessions with a counsellor can be helpful in addressing issues from our past. Overcoming problems from our past enables us to be in the present. Art therapy & Neurographica can help us build a strong foundation, plant seeds today to harvest in our future and thus create our own destiny. Our daily habits are so powerful that it is difficult for some of us to answer the simple question “what do I want?” Our brain is overwhelmed with huge amounts of thoughts and memories that cross our mind every second of every day.
Special Art Program for Children Ages 3 - 13
Give your child a chance to experience self-growth and learning and to accumulate self-esteem through art. Each child’s art work is a sincere and honest story about one’s feelings and life. Build a “bridge” between the conscious and unconscious mind. Children will be able to develop socially and emotionally while learning simple art techniques in a recreational atmosphere. The classes are inviting and are an outlet for stress, anxiety and anger even for shy and introverted participants. This program will expose your child to a variety of art forms and concepts, with a special emphasis on a child’s need to go beyond reproducing external reality and bring to light the inner world of the individual. This program dedicates itself to helping children in creative expression, stimulating the imagination, and developing observational skills. It challenges children to discover their unique manner of self-expression as well as their ability to analyze and reason. A child becomes aware of his or her unlimited abilities, which employs a positive mind-set. Improvisation is a big part of every class.
Neurographics Art Therapy
Drawing during art therapy/Neurographica sessions helps keep our attention and thoughts on a particular area of interest for a much longer period of time than talking alone. Drawing is not a replacement but an addition to words which we use to express ourselves during sessions. Images which we create are associated with words we use. The physical action of drawing is mentally soothing and requires no artistic talent to be used as a method of relaxation, focus and discovery. Art therapy and neurographica offers an opportunity to build a stronger future for ourselves by drawing, thinking, talking and feeling simultaneously. It is a perfect opportunity to combine therapeutic activity and create your original art using the Neurographica technique!
