The OVAL, a day camp nestled in the South Mountain Reservation in Maplewood, offers a touch of wilderness in Essex County. Surrounded by lush forests, rustic cabins, and an expansive field, The OVAL provides Girl Scouts with a blend of adventure, learning, and fun. Campers entering kindergarten through 10th grade explore activities like hiking, archery, and outdoor skills while building confidence, leadership, and friendships. With progressive programming that caters to all skill levels, The OVAL ensures every camper grows at their own pace.
