Over the course of the week, participants will:

— Extract and Analyze DNA: Isolate genomic DNA and perform restriction digestions.
— Master Lab Tools: Gain fluency with micropipettes, centrifuges, and thermal cyclers.
— Visualize Genetics: Cast agarose gels and use gel electrophoresis to visualize DNA fragments.
—Engineer Bacteria: Perform bacterial transformations to understand gene expression and regulation.
