Located in Flemington, NJ, Hunterdon Academy of the Arts (HAA) is the largest performing arts school in Hunterdon County, serving over 600 students year-round. Since its founding in 1981, HAA has earned numerous awards and distinctions for its innovative programming and exceptional instruction. A six-time winner of the "Best Music School" award in the Hunterdon Happening List, HAA has firmly established itself as the premier destination for performing arts education in the region.

In response to growing demand, HAA relocated in 2024 to a stunning 10,000-square-foot performing arts center, complete with its own auditorium and stage. This state-of-the-art facility has expanded opportunities for students and faculty alike, enabling in-house theatre productions, concert series, and an enhanced curriculum.

While private music instruction remains a cornerstone of HAA—offering lessons in piano, guitar, drums, violin, voice, and more—the academy has expanded its programs to include theatre arts and dance.
