Spruce Run Recreation Area
Occupying a pair of peninsulas jutting into Spruce Run Reservoir like opposing canine teeth, the 2,012-acre is typical of most of the day-use areas found in many of New Jersey's state parks and forests. A park office and visitor center awaits the visitor immediately upon entering the recreation area. Fifteen miles of shoreline around the third largest reservoir in the state offer ample recreational opportunities.
