Harbor Haven Day Camp
Instruction and practice in variety of sports and activities provide fun as well as development of motor skills and physical fitness.
Harbor Haven has programs for ages 3-18. Children make friends and feel great about themselves!
Daily academic reinforcement is provided in small group formats with lots of individual attention.
Trained and professional staff work with small groups of children in a 1:3 or better ratio.
Music, drama, dance, a camp talent show and more are part of our performing arts program.
Social skills training plays a big role at Harbor Haven for all ages in both group formats and facilitation while at play.
Age appropriate arts and crafts projects are a fabulous part of camp!
Our onsite heated pool allows campers to receive instruction and enjoy free swim.
Special features include occupational therapy and speech therapy in group, push in or individual formats.
The LIFE Program and TravelQuest For 16-18 years olds special programs includes independent living skills training, on site jobs with coaching, trips and more.
HARBOR HAVEN
A Special Needs Summer Program for Children ages 3-18 years.
Harbor Haven is a special needs summer program for children ages 3-15 and 16-18 with mild special needs. It is a comprehensive summer program where success and positive self-esteem are fostered. Our beautiful private school setting provides an opportunity for children with special needs to experience typical summer activities such as sports, swim, nature, outdoor adventure, drama, dance, music, cooking, bikes, photography, computers, arts and crafts, gymnastics, yoga and more while also working on the issues that are challenging for them.
ACTIVITIES
Social skills group, daily academics, and speech and occupational therapy groups, are added features of the program which promote growth, not regression during the summer. Individual speech and occupational therapy are also available.
THE LIFE PROGRAM and TRAVELQUEST

LOGISTICS
Transportation can be provided in most cases. The staff to child ratio is 1:3 or better. Numerous professionals instruct and work with the children.
