Willow Lake Day Camp

Located in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey on a shaded and lakeside property, Willow Lake Day Camp delivers a dynamic, well-rounded summer experience including daily small group swim instruction and afternoon free swim in one of our 4 heated pools. The 5th through 10th graders get to enjoy the new Cove Pool Complex complete with a waterfall, lounge area, sno-cones, and games!

Our skill building programs utilize age-appropriately sized fields and courts, ensuring every camper is exposed to all athletic areas. Creativity in our extensive arts areas is encouraged. Our Adventure program features six ziplines, a climbing tower and three adventure park style rope courses in addition to Skyland and Willow Zone! We haven’t even mentioned Super Science, The Willow Lake Mine, Cooking or The Farm which has llamas, alpacas, sheep and goats!

And that’s all just a regular day! Special events such as Carnival, Wacky Wild Water Day, Halloween in July and Olympics bring even more over-the-top fun and memories!

Communication with our parents is a critical part of our philosophy. Photos are uploaded daily to our app and weekly newsletters are emailed. Access to the My Willow Lake account affords parents their camper’s daily schedule, lunch menus, and camp calendar among other important information. Direct contact with your camper’s Unit Leader all combine to create a safe and seamless experience!

We are well-equipped to handle health and safety needs with several full-time registered nurses on staff, an additional health station at the pool, area and 50+ water stations situated around camp. Routines for sunblock application are established by the Unit Leaders right from the start. As camp directors and parents, we know these details matter!

Willow Lake emphasizes participation, personal growth, and confidence-building. Our updated and modern facilities, a multi-pool complex, beautifully maintained courts and fields and lakeside access give our campers a classic “camp feel” — woods, water, tradition — what could be better!
