You'll find field trip ideas for Elementary, Middle School and High School as well as outreach programs. Bring your students to one of our 5 locations, and you'll have one of our talented educators lead your class through a wild experience. Programs are designed to meet appropriate learning standards in a way everyone is sure to enjoy: exploring wildlife, meeting an animal and engaging in an active learning environment.

Each location offers different types of field trips, including in-person CLASSROOM PROGRAMS, VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS, BUILD YOUR OWN PROGRAMS, OUTREACH and self-led SCAVENGER HUNTS. Find the one that fits your needs!

Bronx Zoo - You'll find topics such as benefits of biodiversity, endangered wildlife, practicing community science; and for older students, studying animal behavior, wildlife careers, and curbing our carbon footprint are some of the other topics.

Central Park Zoo - You'll find topics such as amazing animals, home sweet home, polar explorations, our changing climate, trekking the tropics, habitat adventure, animal adaptations, and scavenger hunts.

New York Aquarium - You'll find topics such as shark researcher, edge of the sea, making waves: climate change, fresh water systems in New York, and scavenger hunts.

Prospect Park Zoo - You'll find topics such as sensing nature and our environment, incredible insects, magnificent mammals, jr. scientist, animal behavior, and guided tours and scavenger hunts.

Queens Zoo - You'll find topics such as animal adaptation, ecosystems and biomes, guided tours and scavenger hunts.
